01 / 07 The room

Train at your gym. Not against it.

Train with what your gym actually has.

Altor maps the real equipment on your gym floor, every rack and machine, then tells you what to do next, and why. Free for members. Starting in Zürich.

02 / 07 The problem

Most apps don't know what's in front of you.

So they hand you a generic plan and a catalog of movements your gym doesn't have. You improvise, swap, and guess your way through the session — and your progression pays for it.

  • Plans built for a gym that isn't yours
  • Manual swaps and mid-set guesswork
The fix

Altor fixes this at the root: it starts from your gym's real floor.

03 / 07 Inventory

A QR code on every machine.

Every machine at an Altor Certified gym has its own QR code. Scan it and the app opens a short instruction video for that exact station — proper setup, clean form, and the working sets from your plan.

  • A code on every station

Each rack, machine, and cable gets its own QR — no guessing which station you're standing at.

  • Instruction video in seconds

Scan and the app plays a short demo for that exact machine: setup, form, and cues.

  • Straight to your sets

The video opens right on your working sets for that station, so you know exactly what to do.

One missing machine. Resolved.

Not every gym has every station. When something isn't on your floor, Altor keeps the training intent and swaps the tool — instantly, with the reason shown.

05 / 07 The engine

Not an AI coach. An engine you can read.

Altor's progression is deterministic: the same inputs always produce the same output, and every change carries a reason code. It adapts your training through a credit-gated cascade — four checks, in order — and shows its work at each one.

This session RIR 2 24 sets Recovered
  1. 01
Recovery Are you recovered enough to progress at all? If your feedback says you're still beat up, the engine holds. Pass
  2. 02
Workload Has the work you've done earned a change to load or reps? Pass
  3. 03
Intensity Should the weight move — and by how much? +2.5 kg
  4. 04
Volume Should the number of sets move? The last gate, not the first reach. Hold

You approve every plan, every session, every progression. The system suggests; you decide. Why we don't build an AI coach

06 / 07 The output

It all resolves to one number.

The gym had the equipment. The session was completed. Recovery passed, workload earned it, intensity moved one step. So tonight, the only thing you need to know is this.
